Shannon Nazworth, Executive Director
snazworth@abilityhousing.org

Shannon directs the operations of the agency. She is a gubernatorial appointee to the Florida Affordable Housing Study Commission and Council on Homelessness; board president of the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition; a member of Florida’s Independent Living Services Advisory Council; serves on the National Low Income Housing Coalition advisory committees.

Beth Hohl Asbury, Director of Asset Management

Beth manages the agency’s assets through coordination with each property’s management company and each project’s compliance monitors. Beth has over 25 years of experience in community development. She is a former employee of the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority, working in Low Income Housing Tax Credit allocation, HOME program creation, and HOME loan underwriting, closing, and construction oversight.

Micheal Cochran, Special Projects Manager

Mike manages all supportive housing programs at our properties, as well as the 100 Homes Jacksonville initiative. Mike has over 12 years of experience in supportive services. In addition, he is formerly homeless.

Jenna Emmons, Property Development Administrator

Jenna manages all projects in development, focusing on the predevelopment and funding phases.

Joe Montello, Property Development Assistant

Joe oversees all projects during the construction phase, assists with predevelopment and supports the property development department.

Barbara Johnson, Office Manager/Executive Assistant

Barbara supports the Executive Director and manages the day-to-day office logistics.
